Foundation Magazine was flown to Atlanta in April to do an interview with Lil Wayne. After the subject of a particular mixtape DJ who had leaked tracks from the Carter 3 came up, Wayne got heated and started talking all crazy.

I've been seeing a lot of online buzz about the LONG awaited follow-up to "Coldest Winter Ever." Well good news kids, Sista Soulja will be dropping the sequel on October 14th. It is tentatively being titled "Midnight: A Gangster Love Story" and yeah you guessed it, it'll be about Winter's nemesis/ally Midnight.

Whack shit manafacturer Sears has tapped old ass lip lickin' LL Cool J to launch a new branded line by the rapper, that will be in stores this September.

The line is called LL Cool J for Sears, a collection of gaudy, out of style casual wear for the whole family. LL Cool J for Sears will be priced from $22-$50, but my guess is they won't be able to give this mess away!

Kayne West, Common, Method Man and Redman are being sued by the daughter of a jazz musican because they did not get permission from his estate to use samples of his music. The lawsuit said all the rappers used portions of late U.S. jazz musician Joe Farrell's 1974 musical composition "Upon This Rock" in three separate songs -- West in "Gone," Common in "Chi-City" and Method Man and Redman in their song "Run 4 Cover." Kathleen Firrantello is seeking punitive damages of at least $1 million and asked that no further copies of the songs be made, sold or performed, according to the lawsuit.

My homie from way back DJ Green Lantern has enlisted some of hip hop's finest for a compilation disc entitled Liberty City Invasion: Music from and Inspired by Grand Theft Auto IV.

The album, which will be digitally released on May 20 with a physical release at a later date, will be released through Rockstar Games and Future Green Entertainment. The disc will be the first time that Green Lantern, who's featured as a DJ in the game on the fictional station "The Beat," will be releasing an entire album of originally produced material and will feature guest spots from rappers like Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean, Fat Joe, Styles P and Fabolous.

U.S. Marshals apprehended a Dayton man wanted in a drug-related shooting who was hiding at the suburban Los Angeles, CA home of comedian Katt Williams earlier this week.

According to the Dayton Daily News, deputies with the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Williams' distant cousin Robert McGhee on Tuesday after spotting his car parked outside Williams' Woodland Hills home.

The 31 year-old is charged with allegedly shooting 19 year-old Terry A. Martin Jr. in the chest during a "drug deal gone bad" in Dayton, FL. Martin suffered damage to his spine because of the shooting and is now paralyzed.

McGhee is being held at the Los Angeles County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Dayton and faces charges of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of felonious assault.

"McGhee was taken without incident because, I believe, he was surprised that we had tracked him down," said U.S. Marshals Deputy Ron Carter. "Through interviews we found out he was at a relative's house."

McGhee fled Florida and arrived at Williams' house late Sunday or early Monday morning. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office asked the U.S. Marshals to help track down McGhee on May 9 after discovering he left the state sometime after the shooting.

"This was a collaborative effort by many law enforcement agencies," Carter said. "Through solid investigative work we were able to catch Mr. McGhee by surprise and apprehend a dangerous person."

Deputy Carter said it is unknown whether Williams was aware McGhee was wanted and if the comedian was home at the time of the arrest.

In a recent interview with MTV, T.I. laughed off notions that Shawty Lo was competition and that he was in a battle with the D4L rapper.

"I never looked to gain acknowledgement or recognition by mentioning another person's name," he said, explaining that he sees his and Lo's career paths as being totally different. "If it was an issue between me and another person, it was an issue between me and another person. It wasn't a publicity stunt or marketing tool."

T.I. says that going back and forth with Shawty Lo on record is nowhere near his top priority right now. "Back when that was my train of thought, we didn't have those problems." says T.I. "Since it's well known that that's not what I'm on right now, then it's easy to make those comments or take that approach."

And when asked by Sway if he thought Shawty Lo was competition, T.I. didn't hide his emotions.
"I'm sorry," he said. "Compa-who? Man, that was funny! Nah, man. [Lo going at me], it's a cry for attention, dog. At the end of the day, Units in the City in stores right now! Go get it! That's what's that's for. I never felt I was in a position where if this person don't mention my name, I will just die. I went for mine and made people say my name. That's the separation [between me and him]."

In other T.I. news, the rapper has reportedly turned his sights to producing after giving Rick Ross five tracks for his up-coming album "Deeper Than Rap".

Resident Cornball, Ray J was kicked out of his Washington, D.C. hotel room this weekend after illegal club drug was found on the premises.

According to TMZ,he was forced to leave his room at the Hyatt Regency in D.C. when security allegedly discovered marijuana and a club drug known as "boat" while investigating a complaint received by hotel management.

Sources for TMZ say Ray J argued vehemently with hotel security after attempting to bribe them to allow him to stay. Police were called to the scene however no arrests were made. Ray J's security helped him leave the hotel. He reportedly booked a new room at the Holiday Inn down the street, however Ray J's camp has not issued any comment on the matter.

Brooklyn rapper Foxy Brown has replied to recent comments made by her former manager Chaz "Slim" Williams, CEO of Black Hand Entertainment. Williams, whose infamous criminal career and subsequent rise in the music industry was chronicled on a recent episode of American Gangster. The pair are at odds over Brown's Koch Records release Brooklyn's Don Diva, which Williams assembled and produced while the rapper was incarcerated for violating her probation.

Brown has responded to recent controversial comments that Williams made on Shade 45's Lip Service show on Monday, warning the Brooklyn rapper that he was "prepared for war."

"I am far more interested in the truth, than making this guy famous," Foxy Brown told AllHipHop.com. "This was probably the most illogical business decision I've ever made in my entire career. But I believe in giving a nigga a chance...so I did. Completely ignoring my intuition."

Foxy Brown dismissed the comments and Chaz Williams himself has since clarified his comments, noting that he was speaking in general terms and didn’t mean to imply any threat of physical harm against the female rapper.

Foxy Brown and Williams have since parted ways.

The three cops acquitted of killing Sean Bell were hit with disciplinary charges last week. Detectives Marc Cooper, Gescard Isnora and Michael Oliver were accused of firing their weapons outside of NYPD departmental guidelines - charges that could result in their termination from the force. Isnora was also charged with violating NYPD vice protocols by taking action as an undercover.

Al Sharpton, called the internal charges “a step in the right direction.”

“That’s good news,” Sean Bell’s father, William, added. “On a gloomy day like today, I need some good news.”

The three officers remain on modified duty, stripped of their guns and badges.

I just stare at her. I’ve heard many stories about her from reporters, but this was unbelievable. Two of my friends from the LA Times told me how she cussed out one of them last season, because he said hi to her daughter. “Join the club, this means you’ve arrived,” said one reporter when word spread of my run-in with Vanessa. “She’s insane,” said another. “Everyone knows it.”

AS you all know, I shared with you the announcment of my newborn son Xavier Kingston Joiner on may 15th and also informed you that he was born prematurly. well this week was extremly difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own. Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30am and I must tell you this, It is unatural for a parent to bury a child. I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when im having great times, life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them, dont take a second you get to hug them teach them and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe but it is NOTHING compared to having your family. I am thankful for all of my blessings and im not one to question God’s perfect plan, so I leave you with great love and thanks for the love that was sent earlier on my pervious blog to
my son. Of course I need to take some time and handle my loss, STAY FOCUSED

A childhood friend of the alleged victim in the R. Kelly child pornography case testified Wednesday that she recognizes her longtime friend as the one in the explicit video at the center of the trial. The R&B superstar is accused of videotaping himself having sex with a girl as young as 13.

His attorneys have said Kelly's not on the tape and the alleged victim, who is now 23,also denies she's the person in the video. Prosecutors showed the footage within hours of opening statements Tuesday and now they're working to prove their claim that Kelly and the alleged victim are indeed in the video.

On Wednesday, Simha Jamison, 24, said she and the alleged victim were best friends for about 10 years until their junior year in high school — and that she knows her friend's face quite well.

She testified she and her friend visited Kelly at his recording studio and at a Chicago basketball court dozens of times starting when they were around the age of 12. Her friend first introduced her to Kelly as "her godfather," Jamison said, adding that the singer frequently gave her friend cash gifts — "no less than $100 and no more than $500."She said the two also visited the home where authorities say the sex tape was filmed. Jamison said she saw the tape in 2002 and again just before testifying.Jamison remained insistent under tough cross-examination later in the day from defense attorney Sam Adam Jr.

Adam said the reason the alleged victim never told the witness she was having a sexual relationship with Kelly was because there wasn't one and "because it's not her on the tape."

"Are you asking or telling me?" Jamison shot back. During the cross-examination, the defense also revealed their strategy may be to suggest Kelly's image was computer-generated. "Something could have been done to put a different head on that body," Adam said. He also referred to movies where characters had been digitally altered.

The 41-year-old Kelly, who has pleaded not guilty, faces up to 15 years if convicted.The prosecution's first few witnesses were geared toward identifying the alleged victim on the tape that prosecutors say was made between Jan. 1, 1998, and Nov. 1, 2000.Jamison's father, Peter Thomas, testified that the alleged victim's involvement in the video was the talk of their neighborhood. When his daughter heard about it in 2002, he said she would cry herself to sleep but wouldn't discuss it. He watched the video for the first time before testifying Wednesday and identified the girl, guessing that she must have been about 14 or 15 in the video.

Earlier Wednesday, John Kelly, a retired investigator with the Cook County state's attorney's office, testified that a room in a Chicago home once owned by the singer strongly resembles the distinctive room in the video. Kelly said he visited the sprawling red brick home on Chicago's North Side in 2002 and saw what he described as a "hot tub room" with the same log-cabin theme as the room in the video. During cross examination, the defense countered that Kelly moved out of the home at least several weeks before the investigator arrived.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Lou Pearlman, the man who created the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync, was sentenced Wednesday to 25 years in federal prison for bilking thousands of investors out of their life savings. He allegedly swindled $300 million from investors and banks since the early 1980s.
Many of the victims were Pearlman's relatives, friends and retirees in their 70s or 80s who lost everything.
Pearlman said he meant to pay back all the investors, and noted he had returned about $103 million.

Just in case you care, Jessica Alba and her baby daddy Cash Warren quietly got married on Monday afternoon. Her rep confirmed the news but had no further statement. The couple is expecting their first child, a baby girl, early this Summer.

Rihanna is set to star in her first big screen debut!

It is being reported that the Umbrella chanteuse has been cast as Carol in the film adaptation of Iceberg Slim's book Mama Black Widow.

"Mama Black Widow is the portrait of a black family's migration from the southern Mississippi fields of the segregated south to the ghettoized black underworld of Chicago during the 1930's. The story follows Otis Tilson's struggle to keep his family together as they navigate through a world of alcoholism, pimping, sexual deviation and racial degradation. Told in the gut level language of the original novel by Iceberg Slim, the family's journey is a harsh testament of lives lived on the margins of a racist and predatory world."

The rapper's new album was set to be released under the title N—-r, which cause a lot of debate and uproar when it was announced last year.
Now, a rep for Dej Jam is confirming that Nas has changed the much talked about title.
The new name? It'll just be titled "Nas."
The original name caused such a stir that large companies were threatening not to sell the CD in their stores. Island Def Jam Group Chair, Antonio "L.A." Reid, is denying reports, though, that the name change had anything to do with him or pressure from the label.
Reid says, "We stand firmly behind and beside our artists with pride and with pleasure.

The album is set to be released on July 1st.

Opening arguments for the R. Kelly child porn case began on Tuesday.
However, a juror has already been dismissed from the proceedings!

Shortly before opening statements began, a juror was summoned by the judge after she complained that sitting on the panel would leave her unable to pay her bills. The woman explained to the judge that she only has 30 hours of vacation time at her job and wouldn't be paid for serving on the jury after that time expires.

She says she'd be unable to pay attention to her jury duties because of concern over their financial implication.

Pen, 35, said she was attacked May 9 after an argument, during which her ex - Kendall Wicker, 29 - trashed her East Flatbush apartment, put a brick through her windshield and threatened to kill her. The outburst came three months after Pen told police that Wicker, who is the father of two of the rapper's five children, punched her in the face so hard during a dispute that she needed oral surgery to secure teeth knocked loose by the blow.

The Game had the Bentley he was driving towed by police last night because it had expired tags. The rapper was stopped in Glendale, CA. around 7:00 PM last night and was cited by cops for the expired tags and for not having proof of insurance. His car was taken to the police impound. DMX was cold busted trying to pull off a pretty common come up. He is being accused of trying to dodge a hospital bill -- by using a fake name. In April, Mayo Clinic doctors in Arizona thought they were treating a man named Troy Jones for pneumonia. The only problem is -- the man's real name was Earl Simmons, aka DMX, who was allegedly using a fake name to get out of paying his hospital bill.

Olympic gold medalist Tim Montgomery’s once-celebrated life continued its long downward spiral Friday when a federal judge sentenced the former “world’s fastest man” to nearly four years in prison for dealing in bad checks.
Montgomery won a silver medal in the 400 relay at the 1996 Olympics and a gold medal in the same event in 2000. In 2002, he set a world record of 9.78 seconds in the 100-meter dash.
Montgomery was charged in the check scheme, which prosecutors said involved plans to deposit $5 million in stolen, altered or counterfeit checks over three years at several banks. Jones said he was led astray by several people including his baby mama, Marion Jones. She is serving her own 6-month prison term for lying about Montgomery’s involvement in the check scam and about her use of performance-enhancing drugs.

Star Jones recently hosted a taping of “The Bad Girls Club” where one of the girls accused another of being “a cheeseburger away from being obese” - which caused a huge brawl.

Rumors are foating around that Julissa and her boo got engaged this weekend in Vegas. Apharently PURE nightclub displayed a photo montage of pics of the two throughtout their relationship.

Under the pictures it said Congratulations Larry and Julissa & the DJ kept giving them shout outs. Larry looked extremely happy and was dancing on tables all night. Julissa was by the DJ both just chillin’. But when the night was over, they were all hugged up on each other. It was really cute!

Rapper T.I. and his fiance Tameka "Tiny" Cottle just welcomed a 5lb. baby BOY named Major Harris into the world.

Both Major and Tiny are doing fine. Congrats to the happy couple!

I received my advance copy of Hiding in Hip Hop, former DL industry brotha, Terrance Dean's much-hyped autobiography about all of the gays that are hiding in hip hop.

I like plenty of people hoped that Dean would just out some famous rappers outright, by name. But NOPE! But he does like to tell salacious stories about people using pseudonyms, while giving enough identifiable details about them that it's certainly possible to make some very good educated guesses at their identities.

Well not as salacious as Superhead's tell-all, but I'd give it a 3 out of 5 (from what I've read so far)

So here we go, here are the excerpts you've been waiting for.

Dean is at Keenen Ivory Wayans' birthday party. "There were two male celebrity actors standing a few feet in front of us. They didn't notice us because the club was dark. Both men are young and very attractive and have starred in some comedic and dramatic films. One of the actors, "Junior," is a tall, muscular, brown-skinned brother who got his start in television and is known for his comedic roles in films. He never married, but has a couple of children with a girlfriend. The other dark-skinned actor, "Fritz," has been in a few movies and has starred in a popular television drama."

The two are obviously a gay couple, which surprises Dean, although he says there has been much speculation about "Junior."

Dean's friend Sandy is working on a film with some major stars in it. "The lead was "Lucas," who is a megastar. No matter what film project he was attached to it was bound to be a box office smash. In Hollywood, he is considered a golden boy and very bankable. However, there were already many rumors swirling about his sexuality, and even though he married, it was hard for him to shake those pesky gay rumors."
Every day, Sandy says, Lucas' friend "Kareem, a leading [married] sitcom actor," visits his trailer, where they go inside and—everyone believes—have sex. Dean also says that Lucas runs with a circle of high-level superstar down low types. He later meets Lucas again and finds him to be "smooth, charismatic, and charming," and his wife even brings goodies to the film crew.
Dean's friend "Corey" is a singer-songwriter who was featured on the MTV series The Cut, opened shows for Jay-Z, appeared in a Broadway musical, and then signed with "Eli, a popular multiplatinum rapper, who had just started a label at the time (in the 90s)."

"Eli was a force to be reckoned with. He flew out the gate with his debut album and would become a mainstay in the ever-changing Hip Hop industry, where many rappers are one-hit wonders. He has been hailed as one of the greatest rappers to bless the mic."
It turns out that Corey has been giving oral sex to Eli (whom Dean describes as "fine as hell") in Eli's home studio. "Up until that moment I had never heard anything remotely close about the rapper being gay. Eli was a burgeoning superstar who parlayed his marketability into television and movie credits. He even had a promising clothing line. But every man's got needs and Eli's needed tending to."

Correction officials say they called off her weekend wedding at the Rikers Island jail after the groom — fellow rapper Papoose — showed up with a handcuff key.
Remy Ma’s lawyer, Ivan Fisher, denies the key could be used to unlock handcuffs. Papoose isn’t charged.
Fisher says the two still plan to wed.”

UPDATE: Sohh’s Thomas A. Harden has more details from the sentencing….wow, the Judge pulled no punches. Not sure who Pap was talking about though.
“Today, Remy wept as she pleaded to the judge. “I stand here today as Remy Mackie,” she said with tears in her eyes as she asked for leniency. “I’m a loving wife, mother and loving daughter and loving sister to my brothers and sisters.”
Remy also addressed Barnes-Joseph. “I apologize for not saving you from your physical and mental scars.”
Before delivering the sentence of 8 years, the judge gave a statement.
“I’ve learned Remy is an intelligent and charitable young woman,” the judge said. “She’s overcome a difficult childhood. Her music has inspired people in need. She’s loved and has support from her family.”
After the complementary remarks, the judge turned her remarks to accountability.
“This is somewhat of a pattern. This is not the first time she has been engaged in a violent act. She never took responsibility for her actions. This has nothing to do with rap it’s about the actions of one person. Remy is an extremely angry young woman who feels the rules do not apply to her.”
After the sentencing, Papoose got into a shoving match with a court officer. “All y’all want is f*cking money,” he yelled. “This is bullsh*t.”
Remy’s mother and others, who had painted Remy on their faces in red, had to restrain Pap.”

Remy Ma has been sentenced to eight years in prison in the shooting a woman outside a Manhattan nightclub.

The state Supreme Court sentence was handed Tuesday to the 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Remy Smith, for assault, weapon possession and attempted coercion.
Remy Ma, who could have faced up to 25 years in prison, was teary-eyed as she heard the sen

tence. She says last summer’s shooting was an accident.

Damn, we'll keep Remy in our prayers. Although I'm not condoing her actions. Maybe she'll luck up on the appeal.
