Today I'm testing out the Color Me Pro Edition Automatic Foundation Applicator for the very first time. It gives your makeup a flawless finish and works well with liquid, cream and powder products. Let me know what you think in the comments!

I received the Pro Edition in Rose Gold to review from team at The Makeup Show. It retails for $69 and is available here if you want to check it out.

So here's the deal, it was originally developed for pro makeup artists worked long hours on set and is now being marketed to everyday women who want to achieve a long-wearing, professional looking makeup application without having to hire a MUA.

Inside of the box is the applicator with a sponge attachment, an extra sponge an a cap for the device.

It's very sleek and fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. Using the right out of the box device only took a few seconds. I pulled the tab out from the battery compartment and pushed the ON button. I applied a few drops of foundation (Face Atelier Pro Ultra Foundation in shade #11) and began rubbing in on my face in a circular motion.

Claims: The Pro Edition is turbo-charged to deliver award winning superior coverage for 8 hours. The Pro Edition also features universal sponges that can be used with any formula – wet or dry, liquid or powder – eliminating the need to switch sponges between formulas.
Color Me sponges are latex-free and hypoallergenic.

Thoughts: My makeup did last an 8 hour workday, with a blot or two of my Inglot Mattifying Pressed Powder. As you can see in the video below, it did apply both liquid and powder products pretty effortlessly and blended them into a nice smooth, airbrush like finish.

Verdict: Overall, I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5. The finish is great and the application is simple, and it didn't take require very much product. The only downside that I can see is having to replace the sponges (for $12 a pair) every 7-10 uses if you have sensitive skin like I do.

Make sure to give this video a thumbs up and leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
